I'm thinking about buying the DVD set- but will the stuff cut from BBC America be included? I hate not getting the same stuff they get in the U.K.!
Nothing like a new fandom to chase away the blues.
Some other stuff and a quickie fangirl moment behind the cut...

I wish he'd do plays in the U.S.! I'd love to see him on stage someday. And he doesn't do enough movies.

I'm guessing that's from a rehearsal. He looks like he's having fun. Rock me, Amadeus!
Meanwhile, back on Earth...The bell choir rang this morning, and we did really well. Much better than when we made our recording. Regular choir was average at best today. Half of us were gone. And none of our hymns had anything to do with Veteran's Day. We're finally getting Christmas music. It's terrible this year. Really sappy.
A quick college football rant- I hate seeing my school get trampled. Colorado State has won only one game this year. They should play Notre Dame for the title of "Who Sucks the Most".

I want Micky screencaps! Bryan Dick with red hair- ME LIKE!!! Damn, he could play a Weasley in the last two Harry Potter movies...
Bryan really wasn't in it much, but he was cute as usual. He looks really good in the 30's/40's/50's era. Was he born in 1978 or 1928?

It was also a nice little Bleak House reunion- with Burn Gorman and Denis Lawson.
I had to watch on the Richmond PBS, because stupid WETA is having a pledge drive, and showed an older Mystery! instead.

The dogs were very well behaved last night. I couldn't sleep, though. I just stretched out on a couch and listened to the 80's station on the T.V.!
Tonight is the second concert at the library. This one should be interesting, it's a one-man band.

...of my life that I won't get back. I just watched this bizarre indie film called Morvern Callar, which stars the usually great Samantha Morton. http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0300214/ I don't know what the hell it was about!!! I actually turned it off two thirds of the way through because I didn't care. That's something I rarely do. Maybe it would have helped if I'd read the novel it was based on first, but I don't know...
And the fangirl in me realized something quite sad- this was Bryan Dick's film debut. And he was pretty awkward. Almost bad, even. It looked like his scene was unscripted.
Trek BBS meet up tomorrow! Yay!

A Blood and Chocolate drinking game.
http://www.moviecynics.com/item/384
Not as good as the ones you or I came up with (which would get most viewers in an alcoholic coma in 20 minutes), but a nice start.
I actually took a drink whenever someone drank or mentioned absinthe.
Needless to say, that is why I had drunk posts here and at TrekBBS last Friday.
TrekBBS meet-up this Saturday! Wheeeeeeeee! And I'm NOT sick, so I'll be there. Shore Leave is still up in the air for me, though. I can only go on Saturday, and one-day tickets are only available at the door. I hope they don't sell out.
I'm going to TrekBBS less and less now. I'm feeling so bleah about it, except for the BR and my forum. And I know I'm not the only one who is unhappy. I just don't have as much fun there anymore.
I'm reading The Old Curiosity Shop by Dickens right now. I don't like it. It may be the first Dickens I can't get through. At least I'm willing to admit that I'm reading it because the upcoming miniseries based on it features Bryan Dick.
His character is a jerk, and I just know he will have bad hair.

I saved and resized a few of the pics...behind the cut. All Rafe and Aiden.
Short, so not behind a cut. I have given a name to a frequently used evil look from a certain wee British actor.
This is the look:
I call it the Bryan Dick Death Glare™. This cap was from Blackpool (once again borrowed from q), and it is a prime example of said Death Glare™. He uses it frequently in Blood and Chocolate. And DAMN it is sexy. Aaaaa-woooooo!

A bit of a review and some spoilers behind the cut.
Edit: and I actually watched it sober. I may watch while drinking this weekend. Might be even better that way!

I'm not sure what kind of car it's supposed to be, but it looks like something from the 40's. Inside the card it will say: "Happy Father's Day to a classic!" The stitching took me just under two hours.
Fangirl stuff: Blood and Chocolate is out on DVD today. Will pick it up tomorrow. The movie may blow (I'll probably enjoy it anyway!), but it's got Bryan Dick and Hugh Dancy. Good enough for me.
I plan to have plenty of alcohol on hand to deaden the pain from the worst parts of the movie. It's a pretty day out there, but there is definitely a storm coming. I've had a headache all day, and the stupid NOAA weather radio keeps beeping. It's sunny out now, but there's a severe thunderstorm watch until late tonight. I hope we get some rain out of it.

Lost was good tonight. Answered some questions, brought many new ones, but the show seems to be coming together.
Crossing Jordan was pretty good, too...I'm enjoying it while I can. I think it's already been cancelled.
