Just got back from seeing Leatherheads. That was a funny, cute movie! I can't believe I ever disliked George Clooney. Now I think he's just awesome...

Some other thoughts behind a cut as they may contain spoilers (for those who haven't seen the last two Torchwood episodes)...

Now I'm going to watch my tape of Doctor Who, Voyage of the Damned...hope it's good. Tomorrow The Sound of Drums and Last of the Time Lords air on BBC America, then Torchwood and Fragments/Exit Wounds. Sob. Not sure I really want to watch Exit Wounds again. Well, any hopes anyone had of Owen possibly returning for series three? Likely gone, as Burn Gorman is already working on a new show, Bonekickers. I have absolutely no idea what it's about.

*is madly jealous that you have bbc america, and you get to watch doctor who and life on mars whenever you want*

do they air commercials in between the episodes, btw, or play them straight through?

They have commercials. Too damn many. Would be fun if they were at least British commercials...but no, they're plain old American.

Doctor Who is moving to Sci-Fi, though. Voyage of the Damned was on tonight.

again??? good lord, they really need to make up their minds which network wants him more.

anyway, the sound of drums and last of the time lords are much better than voyage of the damned, i thought. well...in parts. aside from the whole tinkerbelle jesus thing at the end. and anything with john simm in it is just automatically better than anything without him in it. he's a bit like morgan freeman in that respect.

*jonesing for a life on mars/simm!master doctor who marathon*

Yeah, it's like a custody battle with Doctor Who, isn't it?

I wish BBC America would pick up Sold. I really want to see that one.

to be honest, it really wasn't that great. it had a nice '1984' kind of feel with anthony head being a sort of all-seeing big brother figure, but then they ruined it and had him actually appear in the later episodes.

and even though bd played the main character, his character was...well, boring. i guess i'm used to seeing him in really interesting character roles, and danny was just so vanilla that he failed to raise my interest, you know? :/

btw, did you watch the last two dr who episodes (sound of drums/last of the time lords? i'm interested to see what you thought of them.

Haven't seen them yet. I've only seen half of Drums. I'll write up what I think of them later tonight.

I still want to see Sold, though...just to see Bryan as a nice guy for a change...even if he is a bit boring. ;) You'd be surprised at the things I find entertaining!

Bonekickers is actually 6 part mini-series of sorts, and he's not playing a lead character. It's already been filmed and should be airing sometime soon on BBC One.
