Pick some of your favorite movies and list a quote from each one, then see how many of them your friends can guess correctly. post will be updated to reveal the answers along with the name of the person who got them right first.

note: NO CHEATING. no googling, imdb-ing, etc.

1. "She's gone from suck to blow!" Spaceballs, guessed by [info]hopefulnebula

2 ." Where are we going?" "Where they went." "Suppose they went nowhere?" "Then, this will be your big chance to get away from it all." Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, guessed by [info]hopefulnebula

3. "I am the train." Blood and Chocolate, guessed by [info]qthewetsprocket , one of the few on my f-list who saw that "masterpiece"!

4. "...if you stuck a lump of coal up his ass, in two weeks you'd have a diamond." Ferris Bueller's Day Off, guessed by [info]hopefulnebula

5. "My friends...you bow to no one." Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Half guessed by [info]hopefulnebula , the other half by [info]qthewetsprocket .

6. "Sondheim! Send in the clowns!" (I will be very happy if anyone gets this one!)

7. "Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking." Airplane! guessed by [info]alpinemaps

8.  I DON'T KNOW WHAT WE'RE YELLING ABOUT!!!  LOUD NOISES!!! Anchorman, guessed by [info]biggles69

9. "But the worst thing I ever done - I mixed a pot of fake puke at home and then I went to this movie theater, hid the puke in my jacket, climbed up to the balcony and then, t-t-then, I made a noise like this: hua-hua-hua-huaaaaaaa - and then I dumped it over the side, all over the people in the audience. And then, this was horrible, all the people started getting sick and throwing up all over each other. I never felt so bad in my entire life." The Goonies, guessed by [info]qthewetsprocket

10. "My son's a homosexual, and I love him. I love my dead gay son." Heathers, guessed by [info]hopefulnebula once again!

Yeah, some of them are pretty easy.

BONUS QUOTE! I just saw this on another board, will be surprised it anyone gets it.

YAY! That's actually almost all I remember from that movie. Unless... is that the movie where he has a girlfriend who's an exchange student from France? I haven't seen it since I was about 10. My friend and I saw it on TV, and we would go around shouting "Two dollars!" at each other and thought it was the funniest thing ever.

Oh yeah, I remembered the French girl's comment about testicles (meaning to say tentacles), and I just looked the movie up on imdb and they had that listed as one of the quotes. I'm surprised I remember that! At the time I had no idea what testicles were. And I think I remember a scene of them skiing. And maybe a scene of the guy trying to hang himself in the basement, but the mom interrupts and messes it up by opening the door? And is it the newspaper boy who wants his two dollars? I think that sums up everything I remember about that movie (and possibly memories of things that aren't in the movie.)

Yeah, that pretty much sums up the movie.
